I know that it's been awhile since I last left a message but I have a huge prayer request if anyone checks this in the near future. One of our freshman girls in Cru was killed Monday, January 5th in a car accident in Virginia Beach. Her boyfriend was driving the car and they were both killed. Breanne knew the Lord and wanted to share Christ with her family over Christmas. To my understanding the family does not know the Lord.

Please pray for her family that they will be able to grieve and find hope though this tragedy.
Pray that they come to know the Lord and that they will one day see their beautiful daughter again.
Pray for her friends that they will be able to grieve and also find hope and comfort in this time.
Pray for her boyfriends friends and family.
Please also pray for her bible study girls that they are able to make it to the funeral, grieve and seek God to heal their wounds. They seem to have been very close.
Finally pray that as a body of Christ and staff team that we are able to share Christ's love and comfort though this time for the students and her family.

Thank you for your diligence in prayer! I thank God for each one of you every day!

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along
the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene,
He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonging to him,
and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed
before him, he looked back at the
footprints in the sand. He noticed that
many times along the path of life,
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him,
and he questioned the LORD about it.
LORD, You said that once I decided to follow You,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life, there is
only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed You
most You would leave me.
The LORD replied,"My son, my precious child.
I love you, and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.

Good morning!

Jordan and Jessamyn seem to be doing well under the circumstances. I think they are still numb from what has happened, however, they are still excited about getting married on Saturday. They plan to have a special time during the wedding to remember his mom and what a blessing her life was here on earth. I can't even imagine having one of the saddest moments of your life directly entwined with one of the happiest, however, this is the time we truly see God work. He is still sovereign and has great plans for this young couple as they begin their new life together and serve the Lord. Please continue to pray for them in these coming days.

What an awesome God we serve!

On a totally different note. I have been so encouraged these last few days. God has really been working and I have seen him bring in 72% of my monthly support in only 8 weeks. The Lord has been providing and I am so excited to see Him continue to provide over these next two weeks. :) The finish line is August 1st and it's almost here!

I just found out that one of the couples that's interning with me had a death in the family. Jordan and Jessamyn are getting married this Saturday and Jordan's mom just passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.

Please pray that God gives Jordan, Jessamyn and their families a peace that passes all understanding because even though they knew it was coming, it never makes it any easier.
Also pray that they will be able to have time to mourn their loss, be able to rejoice in her life and and be comforted knowing that she is with the Lord and no longer in pain.
Pray for their new marriage, that it will be filled with joy and happiness even with the loss of his mother.
